I'm a Data Science & AI student at Zewail City of Science and Technology with a deep passion for SQL, relational database design, and data engineering. I've built a mini DBMS from scratch — complete with B+ Tree indexing, ACID transactions, and WAL recovery — and developed full-stack backend systems like ride-hailing platforms and analytics dashboards.

My focus is on transforming raw data into reliable, queryable, and insightful systems. From designing normalized schemas and writing complex SQL queries to building BI dashboards with real-time filters and visualizations, I bring both engineering rigor and analytical thinking to every project.

AI / Machine Learning

CineMatch AI – Movie Recommendation Engine

Production-grade 3-stage recommendation pipeline combining NLP embeddings, collaborative filtering, and a custom neural ranker to deliver personalized movie suggestions at scale.

My Work Designed a Candidate Retrieval stage (Sentence-BERT + TF-IDF), SVD-based Collaborative Filtering, and a PyTorch Deep Learning Ranker (MLP). Built the FastAPI backend with automated model retraining and rate limiting.
Results Full-stack AI platform with semantic search, real-time personalized recommendations, offline evaluation (Precision@K, Recall, NDCG), and a responsive React UI consuming the API.
